August 2026 Player of the Month
August is done, the numbers have been crunched, the votes have been counted, and this month’s Player of the Month goes to Chris Maddison.
Across the month, Chris played 9 games, made an impressive 8 final tables, picked up 3 wins, finished in the top three 4 times, and cashed on 6 occasions.
That run was good enough for a frankly ridiculous 207% ROI for the month.
On the points side, Chris finished with 3,488 game POTM points, before adding another 200 points from the voting bonus, taking the final total to 3,688.
The player vote backed it up too. Chris picked up 6 votes, with Daniel Turnbull the only other player to receive a vote, collecting one.
And unlike some months where the voting can make things a little interesting, it made absolutely no difference to the outcome here. Chris would still have won Player of the Month on game points alone.
Eight final tables from nine games is some going, and three wins on top of that made August a very strong month from start to finish.
