Macca Claims Victory and First COCF26 Spot
?The cards were in the air at East Durham Poker yesterday for the "New Year’s Knockout - COCF Special," and it was Connor McManus who rose to the top of the pack.
?Connor played a fantastic game all night, navigating a field of 16 entries and 9 re-entries to secure the first-place finish.
In addition to taking the top spot on the podium, Connor also walked away with the very first COCF26 seat currently up for grabs, marking a perfect start to his 2026 campaign.
?It was a hard-fought final table, with Paul Gorton finishing as the runner-up and Chris Maddison taking third place. The event generated a total prize pool of £1,087, providing a great atmosphere to kick off the new year.

?The celebrations don't last long as we are right back in action tomorrow for the highly anticipated launch of the 2026 Season 1 League.
?This is the first of 14 league games, and with £1,500 in prizes attached to the league, the competition is expected to be fierce from week one.
