November 2025 is officially in the books, and while the league standings are currently hotter than a forgotten cup of coffee on the radiator (more on that simmering pot of controversy later!), there is one undeniable truth that shines brighter than a freshly racked set of chips: the Player of the Month award belongs, without a shadow of a doubt, to the man, the myth, the legend... Kevin Johnston!
?Kevin is a two-time winner this year, having first bagged the accolade back in September.
But let's be honest, back then, his award was more like a long engagement ring, consistent final tables, sure, but no actual victory in the ceremony! He was still yearning for that ultimate win, desperate to transition from the perennial bridesmaid to the one walking down the aisle.
?Well, folks, November was the month Kevin finally stopped window shopping and bought the whole darn wedding venue! He didn't just win Player of the Month again; this time, he clinched a glorious 1st place to truly solidify his status.
Kevin has officially gone from the highly-rated, never-quite-there September Fiancé to the fully-fledged, triumphant November Poker Bride!
?Kevin's November campaign was nothing short of spectacular. He played four games, and in a consistency display that would make a Swiss watch blush, he was in the Top Six every single time. This flawless run included two 3rd-place finishes, a 6th-place spot, and, most importantly, bagging the well-deserved victory in the final league game of the month!
He didn't just knock on the final table door; he kicked it off its hinges, sent a quick text to the florist, and finally got to stand at the altar of success with that big, beautiful, first-place win under his belt!
?Now, yes, we know. The league points system is currently causing more arguments than a family game of Monopoly at Christmas. There are whispers, murmurs, and perhaps a few shouting matches about who sits where.
?However, let's put the controversy aside for one joyous moment. Regardless of what the scoreboard is arguing about, Kevin Johnston’s incredible, dominant, and arguably career-best run in November, culminating in that long-awaited victory, stands entirely on its own merit. He deserves every single piece of praise, every complimentary beverage, and every single accolade currently being thrown his way.
