April 2025 Player of the Month
East Durham Poker has announced Darren Turnbull, affectionately known as `Boppa` amongst his fellow players, as their Player of the Month for April. Despite a quieter schedule with fewer games throughout the month, Darren`s consistent high-level performances shone through.
April saw Darren participate in a total of five games, including two highly anticipated seasonal final games for which he had previously qualified. While these finals undoubtedly tested his skills, it was his remarkable consistency in the three regular games that ultimately secured him the coveted monthly award.
Displaying a level of form that speaks for itself, Darren impressively finished in second place on two separate occasions and clinched a strong third-place finish in the remaining regular game. This unwavering performance in the weekly fixtures proved undeniable to the East Durham Poker committee when it came to selecting April`s standout player.
